If you are going to get a 5 speed od then go with the 3.91 LS. Otherwise sell me it! Just kidding.

If you can't stand having your engine rev and do a lot of highway driving run the 3.64 and stock tranny. If you switch to a 5-speed od, run The 3.91 because you will already have lower rpms than the stock and 3.64 in the highest gear. A 3.64 and 5-speed is putting a 5-speed in only for the sake of saying you have one. While that may satisfy some poeple, that would seem to me as a waste of time, money, and effort. Unless of course you are going to actually utilize the higher speed.

I am personally going to run a 3.91 LSD with 185/60/13 tires. Hopefully I will eventually get a 5-speed od or a 5-speed close ratio. It all depends on how long it takes me to get sick of my car having to rev. I probably won't though.
