If you have never used a clay bar give it a shot. I just did my daily driver this weekend. It will make your paint look and feel like new. I removed a ton of over spray from my neighbor painting his house (I let him live). Also works outstanding on glass and headlights. Nothing gets the grime off better.

My recommendation:

Wash the car
Clay bar the entire car
Meguires - Polish and swirl remover (#9 I think)
Meguires - cleaner - polishing wax (#6 I think - these numbers may be switched)

I have not found anything that brings the deep color of paint out better.

Just my 02 worth.
