search engine down... ? about steering lock (archive)

OK, I got the the column shaft out, and removed the ignition lock assembly from the shaft.. I can see the steering lock pin... How do I remove it..

I'm tired of having to put the key in the ignition to push the car around the shop... And Club Racing rules, say the lock must be removed...

I was about to cut the damn thing off, but I figured I'd check the archives first.. Well the search engine is down, bummer...
