After reading plenty of intimidating articles
e.g. Roundel's '02 cents worth "The Dreaded Heater Surgery" (2 part write-up!)and hearing numerous horror stories...NONSENSE!... we removed, rebuilt, and replaced the blower motor within 52 minutes!

Center console WAS removed (exercise care to prevent future misalignment/ stripping of masonite screw holes)... motor was accessible from WITHIN the car.

Clip (which failed and caused initial failure) was swapped from spare unit, but is surely available at Radioshack or the like.
