I know what you mean. Just had mine done 3 weeks ago. First time I took mine out on the freeway was almost scary, it pulled so hard above 50. I've had it up to 120 on the speedo and it was still accelerating a bit. At about 70 on the speedo (probably more like 65), I get about 2600 rpm on the tach with my 5 speed, smooth and quiet. Averaged 21-23 mpg on the last 2 tanks. I kinda miss the sudden "punch" of my 32/36 when the secondary opened, but not its pathetic lack of low-end. Definitely a charismatic carburetor.
