I am considering a Buick aluminum V8 engine swap
(Weighs less than tii!) and was wondering if the
320i LSD will take 200-250Hp?

Have finished an early 02 that was started as that kind of project with that same powerplant and never completed. There is alot involved in that kind of undertaking.
