Replaced motor and tranny mounts today, went smoothly enough. Found my tranny mount sheared in two. Ouch. No wonder I'd been getting some noise from under the car. Of course, thats why I bought the new mounts.

How does that J-bracket for the passenger's mount attach. I pulled it off the car before noting how it should be mounted, not 100% sure I put it back right. The thing that keeps the fan from hitting the radiator.

Removed the AC compressor, whee.

Went to start putting in the HPV-1 system and found that the timing pin on the front timing cover is going to interfere with the timing wheel for the hpv-1 which attaches to the crank pulley. Started grinding it away, but im not sure I can grind away enough for it to clear w/o grinding into the timing cover, which I dont want to do.

I'll be calling top-end about that in the morning. Annoying to spend all of a beautiful day wrenching and end up having to leave the car nose-high on jackstands.
