I've always ajusted mine with the wheels on the ground to duplcate the suspention angles and load of driving. After filling steering box with 90 wt loosen lock nut and with wheels stright ahead use a long screw driver on adjusting screw and tighten while rocking steering wheel back and forth adjust intell you have about 1/8" play don't ajust till you have no play as this will be to tight at the end of travel then you are screwed.
