Can't remember how many wrenches you need to get the peal pivot bolt out, but it wasn't difficult. It helps to not have carpet in the car when you're working on the pedals. I couldn't really get at the works until I pulled back the carpet.

Regarding the plastic fuel bottle, I'm surprised Nader let BMW get away with that. It's a bit dangerous, given that one small leak fills soaks your trunk with gas. I got rid of mine straightaway; you can hook up the fuel return line directly if it suits you. If it's a non-TII, you don't really need a fuel return line anyways.

Thanks for the advice last time,it was suggested that
I lube the bolt/bushings that the brake and clutch
pivot on (in the pedal box).O.K so how does that
bolt come apart? Just undo the right side or do I have
to get a wrench some where on the clutch side to?
A rookie question I know but...Also in my trunk as
part of the fuel return system there is a plastic
fuel container it seems to always be at least 9/10ths
full I can't find any info about this in any of the
books or info I have.Anyway thanks in advance Drew.
