i've found a 325 in a junkyard and want to determine if it is an "e" or "i". (the trunklid is gone). want to get the trottle for my FI conversion.
any ideas? or can someone look up a vin # for me?

I believe all the e's have a cold start valve bolted on to the intake manifold and the i's do not!The ecu controls cold start operation through the injectors.There should be a decal under the hood identifying the model, too.Maybe the vin tag decal on the driver's door pillar.Hope this is of some help!O==00==O
