The springs will tend to 'center' themselves based on the shape of your control arms. If they are really flat and smooth, then the springs will be somewhat centered, but may move around when unloaded. Remember, these are race springs, not street springs. They will make some noise if they are unloaded all the way and are loose in the mounts.

Should I worry about centering the spring around the bump stop extension or just let it ride where it falls?

Does the lower end then just mush into the subframe?

Thanks
Chris P

All the GC rear springs that I have used on the race car have been ground flat. We do not use any rubber spacers. If a spacer is needed (on some bumpy tracks) we use aluminum spacers or the ones that are removed from the top of the front struts. Once the springs are loaded, they should be fine.

Good Luck
Mike (#87)

PS. the wire tie idea is a good one, but they usually break after they wear for some time.
