If it's removed from car, I'd follow the advice of "Mitch" who stores gobs of senior six and 2 liter engines in Santa Cruz Mtns. He drains the coolant but leaves all oil in place and doesn't disassemble anything, covers with a tarp in a garage. I'd go further and fill up the water jacket with pure antifreeze and spray some marine fogging oil into the sparkplug holes and valve cover.His engines last for years stored this way, once you open anything up...rust and corrosion.
