Do it by hand...I started at the "bend" of the A-Pillar and worked down the pillar, then back toward the rear of the car...it is "not" real easy to do...I lubed the sheet metal first...that seemed to help, but I'm not sure if it helps in the long run (less friction to hold the chrome in place).

Be certain there are no burrs along the sheet metal before installing the chrome as this will prevent the chrome from going into place properly as you pop it on..I had this problem on one side...the other side went right on.

Don't worry if the chrome tends to "crack" at the bend...no one (but a Concours judge) will notice..
