I have those never replace just clean and oil air filters. What do you do with these things... First of all how do you clean them, and second, what type of oil do you soak them with and how much oil do you soak them with. Last, are these better than just buying air filters when it is time?
Thanks.

K and N makes a cleaner in a squirt bottle and air filter oil in an aerosol can. Available and most high performance auto stores or 4x4 parts stores. I just wash mine out in solvent in a parts washer and blow out with compressed air and re-oil.

To answer your ?'s, when re-oiling the spray oil is red in color, just spray on enough to make the foam red in color. They are also very efficient by allowing in a lot of air with the oil catching the particles. Preferred A/C on 4x4's because they are so good at catching dust.
