Be careful about using solvent and compressed air to blow out the K&N filter. I absolutely destroyed mine using that method (accidently blew holes through the filter, the good soaked cotton bits) (try not to laugh too hard at me). Yes, I wound up having to buy a new air filter.

Apparently, K&N filters work better when they are dirty, and you shouldn't have to touch them for 50,000 miles. (weird)
