Is it glowing even with the lights off? On my car there a little bleed through light from the illumination lights of the gauges at night. Gives the impression of alt lamp glowing but its not.
EOM means End Of Message. Some people use NT for No Text.

Checked belt tension and cables at batt & ground. Seems o.k. there. Doesn't get discernably different lights on or off, revs up or down.

Many thanks in advance and probably a stupid question but what does 'eom' mean?
