Don't beat yourself up...you "loved it" right? We all do that dumb "sh*t"!...and with an old car in the garage (or on the driveway) we "always" have something that needs "fixin"...so what else to do for a Holiday? ....work on the car right? No, we don't know how to relax do we?

As for the release lever falling off the bearing...I know exactly how you feel....last summer I replaced my son's clutch in his '87 325is...got all done and realized I didn't change the $1.50 pivot pin for the release lever...:(

Oh Sh*t!!!!!...you got it...I pulled the tranny and did it a second time...this time I cracked a rib...it still hurts.

BTW, don't change a clutch in an E30 (6cyl)...there's no "da*n" room under there!!!!

Stay with the '02!
