-Today I took the old broken AC unit out. It took a few hours because of my inexperience with mechanics(im only 15 yrs old). It makes a good weight reduction. Now I am going to put the old AC fan that sits in front of the radiator and run a switch to the dash, so when my car gets hot sitting in a traffic jam, I can turn it on and have more air going to the radiator.

-So any of you people with the old broken AC units in their 02, its a good thing to go ahead and get it out of the way.

YEAH, it took me a few hours too, but i think it's great now that it's out. also made installing the new water pump a LOT easier that it would have been as the a/c bracket covers it a bit. i took everything out including the compressor, the freon lines, the mounting bracket, the matrix in front of the radiator, and the little canister by the headlight. VERY RECOMMENDED IF YOU DON'T CARE ABOUT A/C!
