Is that bell housing aluminum? I think so. Go somewhat easy on the heat, use propane. I think this is the best chance you have. Aluminum will expand more than steel for any given temperature change, so getting it to 500 F should pop it loose. Careful though, aluminum melts before it turns red hot.

If you do break the bell houseing it can be welded.
