As I get familiar with my new car I have a few more Qs. My stock engine with Weber 32/36 and no emissions stuff has a CraneCams XR700 electronic ignition. Is this good quality or should I be worried? What is the canister behind the battery that has holes on one side and is connected to a line to the gas tank. It appears original. Should it be replaced (175K miles)? The intake manifold has an electrical connection on the bottom that is not connected to anything. Should it be? Thanks.
