You can stick a wooden baseball bat between the tire and the fender and roll the car forward so that the bat rides with the tire and flattens (rolls) the inner fender lip outwards. You should be able to do it even with a fresh paint job without cracking paint, although it may rub off a bit underneath, where a touch up would go unnoticed.

Hi,

Can someone out there tell me how they rolled the fender lips on their '02? My rears rub just slightly.

Thanks Friends,

Steve

P.S. I have a new paint job, so I need to be gentle. I wish I'd knew I would need to do this before I'd painted! :)
