You may want to consider getting the Better Business Bureau of Metric Mechanic's home state involved. I've had success using such a method in dealing with businesses outside my state on non-automotive issues. I'm surprised a company with such a high profile and reputation could slip up so carelessly. Hope this helps and keep us posted.
