Eddy, fun trip eh? I drove my 74 from Toronto to Vancouver a few years ago. What a blast. I didn't drive into Bullwinkle however! Sorry to hear that. I don't know of anybody on the island, but a friend of mine has a Volvo/BMW shop in Burnaby with a wrecking yard. Mostly Volvos, but he had some 02's the laast time I was there. His name is Nick, and his shop is called Allvo. Number is (604)436-0763. He may have the parts you need. If you email me offline, I can forward your request to the BMW CC BC, and see if anyone on there may have what you're after, or know a good restorer. I also recomend you join the club. We had a great 02 Fest North West last month, and there is many knowledgable people in the club.
HTH, AlHi, a couple weeks ago, I drove my '71 2002 from Montreal to Victoria. On the last day, I hit a deer at night and now I'm looking to repair the damage. The radiator support needs replacing. The front body piece that the grilles are on can probably be straightened unless I can find one with less rust than mine. Mine is totally rust-free so I'm thinking about getting the thing professionally fixed. Does anyone know where to find good body parts on Southern Vancouver Island or in Vancouver? And does anyone know a place that does restoring of classic cars? I don't really want to bring it to a place that doesn't respect it for what it is. Thanks
Eddy
