Short Shift Gear change for E46 318i (archive)

We are now proud owners of an E46 318i with a Manual Transmission. Does anyone know a good short shift kit I can get in Australia? For those of you in the US the 318 has the 4 cylinder 1.9 and is the only one most of us can afford!
We had an excellent unit on our E36 320i in New Zealand and would dearly love to get something comparable.

PS Any other ideas for upgrades accepted! Eg imporved suspension, superchargers etc.
