If you have raised your compression then your Tii dizzy is probably more correct than the standard. If you are still running the 8.0/8.5 compression ratio, then you could be running more advance than the Tii will give you. The greater advance of the "correct" dizzy will get you more power and lower fuel consumption.

In general the main determinants of how much advance you need are compression ratio, combustion chamber geometry, and type of fuel. Have you changed any of those? Probably not.

I have the 32/36 Weber (tired) tii manifold with Ansa resonator and muffler so it is not quite stock but pretty standard. Should I get rid of the tii distributor and revert to the vacuum? Thanks.
