I think Maximillian's would be your best source of turbo parts here in the u.s. Give them a call and feel them out. I think most stuff is gettable. You may want to post on the other bmw boards to get more details on shipping a car over here as they may have more experience...try the z1 board.

I am contemplating bringing a 2002 turbo to the US from Germany. Having been out of the 2002 loop from sometime (I have been the owner of a 3.0CS for the past 10 years and recently an M6) I don't know the value for such a car and whether it is a feasible vehicle to bring over. My main concern is repairing the car with parts available here in the US.
