i dont really think its a matter of being complicated it is just very expensive, but as for the car i believe it should be able to handle it, the xenon bulbs are only 35 watts.

You can get a kit for $600-1000 and it is basically a bolt in kit, hook up the two wires to the ballast and plug in the bulb.

The only thing you might have to worry about is that the stock headlight is a sealed beam so you would have to change headlight housings to where you can put bulbs in it.
