I am wanting to put fuel injection from a 77-79 320i, on to my '76 '02. What about using the FI from a mid 80's 318i, will it work and if so what do i need to complete this... Any help or links to help would be appreciated! Thanks

I use to have a 320i 79, 2L engine and the
Bosch K injection system or CIS and the throttle
respond was terribly deceving, the system seem
to be bullit proof, and had the exact look of
the Tii. ( no computer )

After 79 the K system continue to exist but
with a computer ( lamba system ) up to 84.

The Bosch L system is different and more perfor-
mence oriented and fully electronic, and not
necessairly a bolt on.
