ok, i saw this somewhere. someone has a 3.64 "open" differential. what is the open part? any feedback is good. i am guessing that it has the limited slip capabilities, but they modified it to be a regular one legger. am i right?matthew bajda
Open typically means that it is not limited slip. In an open differential if one wheel looses traction, the other will not drive. A trick to fool an open rear end if this happens is to apply the emergency brake in increasing amounts until the spinning tire locks and forces the other one to drive.
