Hello All,

Just went to see a 1971 2002. It has some problems and I wanted to run them by the experts here before I possibly make a mistake.

The good.

The interior almost perfect… missing center console.
Fenders, rockers, shock towers & floor pans are all rust free.
Grills are in place and in good condition.
Chrome bumpers and trim are in great condition.
Has new tires and battery.

This is the bad:

Tail light chrome is pitted.
Black smoke on startup and acceleration.
The 2nd. Gear has some problems.
Rattles… thinks it’s the exhaust system.
Cracked front window.
Dash has a HUGE crack in it.
Rear bumper dented.
Electrical system is dead… no instruments, lights etc.
Some rust on the door edges.
Lots of steering play.

Do you all think it’s worth getting? If so how much should I offer the guy? Your help and input is very appreciated.
