i run stahls right now on stock engine w/ 38/38. headers to glass pack to the world. results= looud ( satisfying) snarl at 4k, itb sounding car, no noticeable loss of low end torque ( dont have comparison car- but tii drivers swear my car as quick as theirs) , pita always to work drive train. i am switching to tii manifold, or 76 as trent/ dwight talk about for my next engine. sooo, if you want visceral feel from car and want to scare people, run the stahls, ( oh ya- right now i am OVER LIMIT for laguna seca sound limit and marginal at sears!) , for realistic running, and correct back pressure, get the 76 manifold or tii. save money. also stahls prone to crack as well. good luck, jay///
If the motor is stock, don't do it. You will lose low end torque. For street, the stock setup is already very good. The 76 exhaust manifold is very freeflow unless I am wrong. The archives may say something about this probably too.

Stahl header very good for high reving big exhaust needing motor. =)

If I am wrong, somebody please correct me.

Is it worth replacing a stock header on a 76 02 with a Stahl header? pros/cons?
