i think it's just metal-on-metal there. if oil was coming from there, i think you would notice your clutch slipping a lot because the oil would have to get past the clutch assembly before dripping out of where the engine and tranny meet. probably what you have is oil running down from somewhere around the rear of the engine and dripping down from the area in question. check the the back of the valve cover gasket, the distributor housing and everywhere else back there. if you engine is dirty and oily, it will be very difficult to track the leak down. good luck.
