integra seats DO fit (archive)

I finally bought my friends '87 Integra LS for parts (buying the whole car was the same price as just seats at the wrecker:), and am pleased to say the front seats basically bolted right in. (typical cloth sport buckets) I took the rails off the original 2002 buckets, and bolted them on the Integra units, and that was it. I had to enlarge the hole on the end of each BMW rail to accept the larger diameter bolt, and then had to drill a new hole at the other end of the rail. and i couldn't believe that the width is exactly the same on the integra seats as the 2002 seats are.

The best part about this is that most of these types of seats (integra, prelude, civic) and interchangable with each other; hence they should all be bolt-ins to the 2002. And the 2nd best part is that anyone with a socket set and a hand drill can do this. I'll post pics this weekend..

now, on to the back seat...(probably a couple hours of work.)
