I don't know the rest, but I had a lot of clicking over bumps and such...the two rear hanger bolts that the diff bolts to were super loose. infact one of the bolts was missing!

2002parts.com has a lot of 3.91 diffs. Rebuilding diffs is incredibly expensive. Just look for a good used one.

Well, I was driving down Lincoln, in S.F., and herd two loud crack sounds come from the rear. I figured it was the diff, because it had been so loud in the past. (now its even louder) When I let the clutch out it makes the sound..shhhhhhh... We put it on the lift we found that the fluid was way to full, and sprayed out all over the bushings and I guess their ruined? I also noticed a clanking noise when I go over any bumps, and it sounds like suspension? Is it my diff clanking on bumps?

1. Should I REBUILD it to a 3.90 LSD? or just buy a good used one..

2. Any one have a good 3.90 in the Bay Area? (for cheap $150-200 range)?

3. How much should I pay for a rebuild on my diff?
