If you already don't have a Pertronix ignition on it...get one, that helps incredibly. Other than that, it sounds like you have a rad setup and sounds like a good deal.

I just recently bought a '76 2002... it is excellent inside and out, and the whole engine compartment is spotless. It has a performance exhaust (header/system), suspension, bottlecaps, tucked-in bumpers, thicker swaybars, performance cam, and many extra parts. The owner was in the BMWCCA and former BMW Dealer/Private Mechanic. I paid $2500 and to me it seems like a good deal. Opinions?

I have had an '87 325is for awhile now and have been through many mods with it, so I am fairly experienced with BMWs and cars in general...

My question is, what are 3 or 4 modifications that one would recommend for this later '02 that are popular undertakings? I'm not looking necessarily for performance, as the car is pretty well equipped, but useful modifications that will help running reliability and general performance (i.e.:electronic distributor ignition, etc)

Thanks in advance for you help, and I'm sorry for giving the Newbie Speech (tm)
