If you got em' use em', I had a 284 cam in my 73tii that worked well with a rennsport header and exhaust(very mean car).. don't have any input on the 292 cam to offer.


With my 300k mi 74tii motor apart and the commitment to go for it, I have been looking into 5 speeds including the getrag 235/5 with the 1st gear down. I will have newly bored cylinders, new pistons etc. Stahl, K&N and supertune setup. My tech would like me to keep the thing mostly stock since it is a daily driver for my short commute. Any Words to the wise about 292 cams and CR 5 speeds? Any FS?
