In Reply to: removing "cyclone filter"...help! posted by Tim in MD on October 29, 2000 at 22:43:17:

I tried for 2 hours without luck, so I gave up. I figured I will remove it when I upgrade to a 38/38 downdraft with a new hogged out intake manifold. If you find a way let me know...thnx

The only emissions bit left on my '75 is what I believe is the cyclone filter...it fits underneath the intake manifold between the manifold air injection port and the hoses leading to the air injection in the exhaust manifold. There doesn't seem to be a way to get this out without removing the intake manfold. Any easier ways? Thanks much...
