I just had to have everything *loose* to get it to fit right. What I did, on the bolts that bolt from the brace to the plates, I didn't put them all the way through the brace (just slightly in), so I could get all four bolts in. Then when I got those 4 in slightly, I jammed them the rest of the way home.

I've seen some prior posts about things not lining up well. Here's what I have: The plates over the struts are loosely in place, the brace is loosely bolted to the driver's side strut plate, the left side brace holes do not line up at all and are outboard of the strut holes by 3/8 to 1/2 inch. Could mycar really be this much out of whack or could it be poor fabrication by TEP? Should I drill new holes in the brace or new holes in the strut mount to complete installation? Returning the brace would be a PITA.
