I put an 8" bandpass cabinet in my trunk (between the shock towers) and cut a hole in the rear deck to allow the sound to pass into the cabin. I also put in a section of pvc pipe (much bigger than the port) that "connects" the speaker to the cabin. It all works great and I don't have any problems with rattles. Maybe you could port in the sound from your cabinet. Helps immensely because you don't have to turn the gain up as much on the cabinet to get the same sound levels.

i have recently put two subwoofers in my trunk. I love them alot and they make the stereo sound great. However, the trunk rattles from them. Has anyone else had this problem, if so is there a cheap way to fix it?

Thanx
