I couldn't get it out, had it towed to dealer,
they removed it with heat, put new one in and it
didn't help. Towed it to more reputable dealer
and told my tale of woe to a technician who was
on a break (eating ice cream cone in parking lot.)
Car came off flatbed he told me to hold his ice cream cone and push. He got in car, manhandled
clutch pedal, push started it and it was fine.
Clutch had stuck to flywheel, the slave was never the problem. Live and learn.
Help- slave cylinder stuck in transmission housing and I can't finish replacing my clutch. I have removed the rear retaining ring and I'm trying to slide or drive the slave housing forward but it's really stuck. Helpful tips?
