Removed my pump and bracket last week--no evidence of lost seal.

Moved battery to trunk. Amazing how much space that opens up on that side of engine. Does anyone know if the air pump mount-to-engine bolts are sealing anything or can I pull it off? BTW air pump already gone. Cut out battery tray with sawzall. Found a screwdriver PO left me and a few extraneous nuts and washers.

Does not seal anything , but that and the battery in the trunk might make your front end a little high. Try removing the spacers at the top of the struts, if this is the case.
