Set your rear swaybar to the farthest out hole, i.e. so that the swaybar has the longest lever arms (softest setting).

Don't worry about your tire pressures for now.

The biggest change you can make is to adjust your driving style... avoid upsetting the car, turn-in smoothly, and enter turns slowly so that you can be on the gas to settle the rear end of the car through the apex to the exit (weight transfer)... slow in, fast out.

You certainly weren't driving tentatively... you just need to learn how to settle the car and set up turns with entry speed and throttle inputs.
