There a roofing product that is "torch" on. It's heavy roofing felt with a modified bitumen backing that when heated becomes very sticky. I have not tried this but was tempted on a old Triumph (TR6) that had turned into a Fred Flintstone car, rusted out floor pans. Put the TR into storage still waiting to be retored.
