The blue line was the fuel blow off return line that came off of the Kugl (fuel injection pump). It is routed inside the passenger compartment under the passenger side carpeting along door sill back to the tank. Depending on the year of the original tii the clear could be the vapor return to the expansion tank, located in the trunk on the upper passenger side.

It is possible that gas could be coming out of one or both of these lines and running down the fire wall. You can leave the lines in but disconnect them at the tank and plastic vapor expansion tank.Plug the holes at the tank and palastic tank. Because of the carb conversion these are not needed, I assume that you are using the metal fuel line that runs under the car on the drivers side for the current fuel.

Remember it's a federal offense to tamper with the emission control.... Also carburetors or no substitute for the joy of mechanical fuel injection!
