Months ago, I convinced my 14 year old that restoring a 2002 would be a great project for him. Well, we found one (a 73 in reasonable running shape in need of some minor body work (but no noticable rust) and TLC.

I own an 87 535is and have found plenty of parts suppliers on the web for my car, but can't seem to find any 02 parts suppliers with anything but upgrade parts. I have also heard that there are parts CD's available. This is going to be at least a 1 year project and will be doing a lot of our own work.

I would appreciate any links to where I can find parts and even the CD for reference. Also, an address for an 02 related club in L.A. area would be great.

TIA
Rich
