Greetings fellow '02ers,

The stock driver side mirror on my '02 doesn't stay in place and it requires adjustment every time the door is opened and closed. It also moves when the car is going at freeway speeds. The base is secured on the door fine, it is swival joint that is loose.

Is there anything else I can do besides tighten the set screw at the base of the mirror? Drill out and tap new threads and replace the set screw with a new one? Replace the mirror fixture?

Any advice is greatly apreciated. Thanks in advance.
