parts car? real car? my new 72 adventure! (archive)

Well, I picked up my second car. I have another working motor, so I wanted to find a car that had a blown/no motor. I found this 72 30 miles away with the head/intake/exhaust in the trunk. The guy wanted $500 so I didn't hesitate, and went to go pick it up. Here are some of the pics and some interesting things on it: 16 inch wheels,odd aftermarket seats (volvo?).

The body looks nice, but it has a bit of surface rust and they grey paint was kinda s $hitty job over a golf yellow. The wheel wells and body contrast nicely (right?).

This may be a parts car, this may be a real car. I am not sure yet -- I would like some input. Thanks.
