if they are not connected they should be pluged. that one loose hose may go to the distributer for the vacume advance.

Hello,
I've just noticed a small vacuum hose coming out near the top of the intake manifold on my new '74. There are two short lengths of hose right under the carb on the head side, in the middle. One is plugged, the other is open. Should both be plugged? Should one or both be connected somewhere? (Carb is Weber 32/36)
Thank you,
Gary Fuchs
