I have seen a couple of cars with the with programable efi in them. One was an Electromotive system (www.electromotive-inc.com), the other SDS. The electromotive is pricier and requires as laptop. SDS is controlled by an included device (www.sdsefi.com). Both uses throttle bodies similar to weber carbs (twm induction). Very cool stuff.

I plan to purchase at some point next year (been saying this for over a year though, my "restoration" moves slow). Lately I have been talking with an australian company about their system. Autronic is the company's name. Very, very cool. Pricey but way below Motec. They are missing any knock control which is important if you want to go pressurized.
