I haven't needed to tackle this job myself (thankfully) but everyone seems to agree that you should get metal from another car and graft it in.

Good luck,

Jonathan T.

hey guys,

who has redone their shock towers here? when I bought my little 02, I knew some work had been done (not very well) but upon closer inspection I am getting more concerned... what can be done to restore these? do I have to cut out metal from another car? I'd rather not use "bondo" or fiberglass or anything... the previous owner mucked it all up with some tacky crap.. I want to take it down to the metal and eventually when the car gets painted I will restore the color as it should be back there... but I'm afraid to see what's really doing under there...
